A Batman villain is ready for his turn to shine on the big screen.
Welsh actor Tom Rhys Harries has landed the lead role in DC Studios’ upcoming creature feature Clayface, according to a report on Deadline.
Rhys Harries is known for his work on television on such programs as Jekyll and Hyde, Unforgotten, Britannia, and White Lines. When it comes to the big screen, he has appeared in Under Milk Wood, Ironclad: Battle for Blood, Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire, Slaughterhouse Rulez, The Gentlemen, Sissi & I, and The Return.
There have been many different versions of Clayface throughout DC Comics history , but the original Clayface was created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane and first appeared in Detective Comics #40 in June of 1940.
James Watkins, who is no stranger to horror will helm the film The English director is known for his work on Eden Lake, The Woman in Black, Bastille Day, Black Mirror, and Speak No Evil.
