Dimension Films and Trancas International Films are beginning production on the next ‘Halloween’ film, titled ‘Halloween Returns’, a continuation of Rob Zombie’s recent reboots of the series. Zombie is not attached to this project. Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton have penned the script and Dunstan will be directing. Malek Akkad will produce alongside Matthew Stein, who is executive producing. Matthew Signer and Keith Levine of Dimension Films are overseeing the project.
Akkad is quoted as saying “The legacy of Halloween is something that Trancas is very proud of, and I look forward to working together again with Bob and Dimension to continue that tradition.”
