HNN’s Coverage of NY Toy Fair 2026

Plenty of Upcoming Reveals for the Horror Collectors!

by Sean McLaughlin

After a 2-year hiatus, Horror News Network made its triumphant return to the Jacob Javitz Center in Manhattan on President’s Day weekend for NY Toy Fair 2026.  While the usual suspects of horror-themed toys and collectibles were there to unveil their new projects and licenses along with their awesome products currently in stores (all except for Mezco, who held their own online toy fair), there were also a couple of unexpected entries into the horror toy universe making their presence known with a loud bang.

Without further adieu……..here are the highlights for the horror community at NY Toy Fair 2026……

NECA

The highlights from NECA’s booth included a cool new line of Ben Cooper-inspired figures featuring some current horror properties like Ghostface and Chucky along with Star Trek.   These will be available in Q2 of this year.  And the Toony Terrors line continues to kill it, with several variations of Art the Clown hitting store shelves Q3!

Super 7

While still rolling out impressive pieces for their Godzilla and Universal Monsters line, it’s clear that Super7 is gradually pulling away from horror properties and more into the iconic cartoon realm (Sesame Street, Snoopy, etc.)

Trick or Treat Studios

Consistently a horror toy heavyweight since expanding from masks and props and venturing into the action figure/statue market a few years ago, Trick or Treat unveiled some awesome figures and lines slated to hit retail in 2026 and 2027.  Some properties continue on with numerous new entries (Leatherface, Terrifier, Pinhead and the Cenobites, etc.), while a few new lines such as a 1:1 scale figure of a Minion from The Gate blew us away!

Funko

The POP! line continues to crush it for Funko, and there’s plenty for the horror fans to eagerly await.  Properties such as The Last Of Us and Welcome To Derry get the POP! treatment, while a new and super cool version of Funko POP!’s is set to debut later this year called POP! Mystery.  This is a blind bag concept, complete with very unique and colorful versions of horror characters, with each also having variants as well as talk of possible 1 of 1 figures to find out there.  Happy hunting!

The Noble Collection

Zombie Sailor Toys

This was a booth I was particularly looking forward to, as Zombie has been perfecting the Hasbro-esque retro wrestling figure line since Covid.  He recently began producing Army of Darkness characters in the retro format, and Toy Fair was his chance to announce a couple of new exciting licenses due to be produced in the next year or so for the horror universe:  Silence of the Lambs (Q2) and Silent Hill (Q4).  There were also rumors floating around the Javitz Center of Zombie’s buddies over at Major dipping their toe into the horror film universe soon as well with their Big Rubber Guys line. Can’t wait to see what else Zombie Sailor has up his sleeve for horror fans in the near future!

Surreal Entertainment

CultureFly

A very welcome surprise for us at Toy Fair was the CultureFly booth, which featured way more horror-related items than we could’ve anticipated.  Very cool toy formats such as Nooks (bookends), melting popsicle horror icons, unique and fun versions of Ghostface and Chucky blind bags, a lego/brick Ghostface, and “Huggers” decorative mini figures were the highlights.  This is a company worth keeping an eye on for horror fans!

Ravensburger

Diamond Select

Now part of the NECA family, Diamond Select didn’t just defer to their colleague company in terms of horror collectible originality.  A collaboration with Takatoku Toys will see iconic horror characters given the samurai treatment, and a partnership with CGA will produce a line of certified factory-sealed and slabbed figures that come shipped already slabbed and ready to display.  These will hit in Q4 with the first two figures being a NECA Predator and the Ultimate Savini Jason from Friday the 13th The Game!

Atlantis

Another new entry into the horror collectible space, Atlantis is on target to release a line Universal Monsters line of model kits and playsets in the near future!

That wraps up the Horror News Network coverage of NY Toy Fair 2026.  Looking forward to 2027!
