Is Tamara Home? Horror fans are here at WonderCon for The Strangers: Chapter 1 panel to find out. Stars Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez with director Renny Harlin and producer Courtney Solomon presented attendees with some sneak peeks at the film and an overview of what to expect. The upcoming film is a retelling of the original with additional detail making for a much longer story. Four and a half hours long, in fact. Shot in Slovakia over 52 days and all at once to keep the enthusiasm of the cast and crew, it was later determined to make the film a trilogy. The teases presented to attendees were that we would learn how these strangers became what they are and who is Tamara. Fans can expect to see the first chapter on May 17, with the second chapter coming in the Fall.
