The thriller for a supernatural horror film called Shortwave was released today. Ryan Gregory Phillips directs the film, which will premiere this weekend at L.A.’s annual Dances With Films festival.
The story centers around a couple who recently lost their child and relocate to a research facility to rebuild their lives. A few years later, Josh and his research partner Thomas have a breakthrough, which involves a shortwave radio with a cryptic signal. Something in the signal triggers memories, visions and hallucinations in Josh’s wife Isabel, who is convinced something sinister has arrived.
