Just yesterday, Netflix revealed the official trailer for their upcoming Devil May Cry anime. The series is from Capcom, led by Adi Shankar, and animated by Studio Mir based on the hit video game franchise. The preview, which can be seen below, gives us a glimpse of the monsters and actions we can expect to see in the series.
The official synopsis of the series reads “When a mysterious villain threatens to open the gates of Hell, a devilishly handsome demon hunter could be the world’s best hope for salvation.”
The voice cast features Johnny Yong Bosch, Scout Taylor-Compton, Hoon Lee, Chris Coppola, Kevin Conroy and Robbie Daymond.
The video game series has a massive following and Capcom announced that 2019’s Devil May Cry game sold 10 million copies.
