Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird) is the latest actor to  join Netflix‘s live-action Scooby-Doo series as a series regular, according to a report on Deadline. There’s no word just yet on the role that he’ll play.

Written by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio, and drawing from the classic Hanna-Barbera characters, the Scooby-Doo series offers a fresh take on the origin of Mystery Inc. It explores how the legendary group first came together, as they embark on the chilling mystery that sparked their adventures.

The official synopsis of the series reads “During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne become embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie Velma and the strange but ever so handsome new kid Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.”
