Everybody dies. And that’s fucked up.

The official synopsis of the film reads “When twin brothers Hal and Bill discover their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start occurring all around them.”
Produced by James Wan and directed by Osgood Perkins, The Monkey is set to star Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, Sarah Levy and Christian Convery.
The Monkey is a short story written by Stephen King, featured in his 1985 collection Skeleton Crew. The story revolves around a seemingly innocuous toy—a monkey that claps its cymbals together. However, this toy carries a dark and sinister curse. The narrative explores themes of fate, childhood fears, and the consequences of past actions.
A teaser trailer is expected next week as the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 21, 2025. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on The Monkey.
