Longlegs–an upcoming horror pic distributed by Neon–will hit the big screen this summer, and a teaser trailer has arrived that sets the mood, but reveals very little about the storyline. Check out the enigmatic video on this page.
The film–from writer/director Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter)–stars Oscar winner Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe (It Follows)–along with Alicia Witt, Blair Underwood, Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan. Longlegs is slated for theaters July 12.
In the feature, FBI agent Lee Harker (Monroe) has been assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage). As the case becomes more complicated–and uncovers evidence of the occult–Harker discovers “a personal connection to the merciless killer.”
Now, the agent must “race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
