‘Longlegs’ Reaches $100M Globally

Neon has announced that their latest horror film Longlegs has surpassed the $100 million mark at the box office, according to a report on Deadline.

Written and directed by Osgood Perkins, Longlegs starred Maika Monroe, Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt and Nicolas Cage.

The official synopsis of the film reads “FBI Agent Lee Harker is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes an unexpected turn, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again.”

With a current gross of $72M in the U.S. and Canada, Longlegs now becomes Neon‘s highest grossing film ever. Better yet, the film is the highest grossing R-rated horror film of the year to date, and has gone further to cement itself as the highest grossing indie horror film of the last 10 years.
