She passed Dr. Venkman’s ESP test with flying colors.
Jennifer Runyon, the actress who portrayed the female student taking Dr. Venkman’s ESP test in Ghostbusters, died March 6 after a brief battle with cancer, according to news on Deadline. She was 65.
The news was posting on Instagram by her good friend and Bewitched star Erin Murphy. “So sad to share that my friend Jennifer Runyon Corman has passed away after a brief battle with cancer. ? Some people you just know you’ll be friends with before you even meet. She was a special lady. I’ll miss you Jenn. My thoughts are with your family and beautiful children,” Murphy wrote on Instagram.
Runyon would return to the world of Ghostbusters by appearing as herself in the 2019 documentary Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.
She would appear in other creepy films in her career including To All a Goodnight, Carnosaur, and Silent Night, Bloody Night 2: Revival.
Runyon also would appear in television shows such as Beverly Hills, 90210, Murder, She Wrote, Quantum Leap, Valerie, Dear John, Who’s the Boss?, The Fall Guy, Charles in Charge and Magnum, P.I. She was perhaps best known for the role of Cindy in A Very Brady Christmas.
