Final Destination Bloodlines has taken in a whopping $102M global start over the weekend, according to a report on Deadline. That $102M makes up an even $51 million domestically and $51 million internationally.
In addition, the film is on page to become the highest grossing film of the franchise by surpassing The Final Destination which took in $187.4 million at the box office back in 2009.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, Final Destination Bloodlines stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger and Tony Todd.
The official synopsis of the film reads “Plagued by a violent and recurring nightmare, a college student heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle of death and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”
