The 20th Century flick–headed to the big screen April 5–is directed by Arkasha Stevenson (Legion) from a screenplay she wrote with Keith Thomas and executive producer Tim Smith.
Starring Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson and Bill Nighy, The First Omen follows a young woman named Margaret who travels to Rome to start a life of service to the church. It’s there that she encounters “a darkness that makes her question her faith, and leads her to uncover a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.”
The Omen–directed by Richard Donner from a screenplay by David Seltzer–stars Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, and follows an American ambassador who believes his five-year-old son is the Antichrist.
