Set to feature two stories written by father and son horror masterminds Stephen King and Joe Hill, Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead) will direct both episodes.
The first is called Survivor Type and is adapted from King’s short story of the same title. The story involves a man (Sutherland) who is determined to stay alive on a deserted island no matter what.
The second part, Twittering from the Circus of the Dead, is based on the short story by Hill. This one will center on a teen (J. King) whose family road trip includes a visit to the “gravest show on earth.”
The Creepshow animated special comes right in time for Halloween as it is set to debut on October 26.
