Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema are set to release the next installment of The Evil Dead next summer, according to a report on Deadline. Dune: Part Two actress Souheila Yacoub will star in Evil Dead: Burn.
Yacoub is a former rhythmic gymnast and was part of the Swiss National Rhythmic Gymnastics Team. She went on to pursue a career on acting and has appeared in Climax and Savages.
Sebastien Vanicek and Florent Bernard co-wrote the screenplay. The film will be produced by series creator Sam Ramini and longtime franchise regular Rob Tapert. Romel Adam, Jose Canas, and Lee Cronin will exec produce alongside Bruce Campbell.
