The highly-anticipated movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot from director Gary Dauberman will premiere on Max on October 3, 2024.
And according to Total Film, Director Gary Dauberman credits Stephen King in helping the film get released. “I’m extremely thankful for Steve’s support,” Dauberman tells the magazine. “Let’s just say it provided some shock support for some of the more bumpy portions of this journey and leave it at that.”
The official synopsis of the film reads: “Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.”
Directed by Dauberman, Salem’s Lot stars Lewis Pullman, Bill Camp, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbaek, Alfre Woodard, William Sadler, Makenzie Leigh, John Benjamin Hickey, Nicholas Crovetti, and Debra Christofferson.
