Peacock is celebrating The ‘Burbs, as the horror-comedy has racked up nearly 1 billion viewing minutes since its February 8th premiere, according to a report from Deadline.
Furthermore, the series had the highest Day 1 for a Peacock original ever, and, in fact, the best launch day for any new streaming original series in 2026 based on minutes viewed, per Nielsen.
The official synopsis of the film reads “Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.”
Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, Kapil Talwalkar serve as regulars in the 8-episode series.
