Peacock Cancels ‘Teacup’ After One Season

“The woods don’t just watch, they remember.”

Peacock has announced that they have canceled Teacup after one season, according to a report on Variety.

The series, which is based on Robert McCammon’s bestselling novel Stinger, starred Scott Speedman, Yvonne Strahovski, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre and Luciano Leroux.

The official synopsis of the series reads “Trapped on a farm in rural Georgia, a group of neighbors must put aside their differences and unite in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat.”

The series premiered on Peacock on October 10, 2024. Ian McCulloch served as writer and executive producer on Teacup. James Wan, Michael Clear, and Rob Hackett also executive produced via Atomic Monster along with Francisca X. Hu and Kevin Tancharoen. E.L. Katz directed the first two episodes and executive produced, while Tancharoen directed the final two.
