“The end of the world comes tomorrow.”
Netflix has revealed the official trailer for their upcoming series Terminator Zero. With “Disarm” by The Smashing Pumpkins playing behind the trailer, which can be seen below, humanity finds itself thrust into a war that can end all human life.
The official synopsis of the series reads “In Japan, Malcom Lee has been developing another AI system that is intended to compete with SkyNet. As Judgement Day approaches in 1997, Lee finds himself and his three children pursued by an unknown robot assassin.”
The series comes from Mattson Tomlin and features the voice cast of Timothy Olyphant, Sonoya Mizuno, Rosario Dawson, Ann Dowd, and Andre Holland.
At the 2024 Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Tomlin revealed that Terminator Zero will bring back the original film’s “serial killer” vibes.
