Earlier today Warner Bros. revealed the official trailer for Lee Cronin’s The Mummy. The preview, which can be seen below, suggests a fresh and interesting take on the Mummy genre.
According to Deadline, the film follows the young daughter of a journalist who disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Veronica Falcon.
“This will be unlike any Mummy movie you ever laid eyeballs on before,” Cronin said in a statement to THR back in December 2024. “I’m digging deep into the earth to raise something very ancient and very frightening.”
