Earlier today a teaser for Godzilla Minus Zero was revealed. The preview, which can be seen below, is a direct sequel to the 2023 Japanese film Godzilla Minus One.
The official description of the film reads “Godzilla Minus Zero picks up in 1949, two years after the tumultuous events of Godzilla Minus One, and continues the story of the Shikishima family as they face an all-new calamity.”
In this latest teaser we see additional members from the Godzilla Minus One cast returning and the reveal of a new character, Kanji Murakami, a biologist carrying deep psychological scars from the war. Played by Min Tanaka, celebrated for his unforgettable performance in the 2025 blockbuster Japanese film Kokuho, Murakami will be a pivotal character in the upcoming film.
previously announced Ryunosuke Kamiki as Koichi Shikishima and Minami Hamabe as Noriko Shikishima. Fans can also look forward to the return of additional Godzilla Minus One favorites,
Hidetaka Yoshioka reprises his role as Kenji Noda, Yuki Yamada returns as Shiro Mizushima, Sakura Ando reprises her role as Sumiko Ota, Miou Tanaka returns as Tatsuo Hotta.
