NECA is set to celebrate The Texas Chain Saw Massacre in a big way by releasing a Limited Edition NECA Store Exclusive Texas Chainsaw Massacre – 50th Anniversary Ultimate Poster Leatherface 7″ Scale Action Figure.
The preview images, which can be seen below, showcase the frightening Leatherface from Tobe Hooper’s 1974 classic film. Posed and painted to match his look on the iconic movie poster, Leatherface stands in 7-inch scale and comes with a chainsaw accessory.
The film, which would change the slasher genre forever, would go on to earn $30.9 million at the box office. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre starred Marilyn Burns as Sally Hardesty, Paul A. Partain as Franklin Hardesty, Edwin Neal as The Hitchhiker, Jim Siedow as The Old Man, and Gunnar Hansen as Leatherface.
