Lily Taylor is Replacing Angela Bettis in ‘Texas Chainsaw’ Prequel ‘Leatherface’

Lily Taylor (The Conjuring, Hemlock Grove) is replacing Angela Bettis in the upcoming “Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ prequel ‘Leatherface. Bettis dropped out due to scheduling issues. Millenium is producing the film which stars Stephen Dorff, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Sam Coleman and Jessica Madsen. Taylor is going to play Leatherface’s mother. The tells the story of “a young nurse who is kidnapped by four violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on a road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface,” Millennium says. Christa Campbell,Lati Grobman, and Carl Mazzocon, who were behind 2013’s ‘Texas Chainsaw 3D’, are producing, along with Les Weldon.
