Meet Count Orlok.
Focus Features has revealed the official poster for their highly anticipated upcoming vampire flick, Nosferatu. The poster, which can be seen in all its glory below, shows a shadowy Bill Skarsgard as Count Orlok.
Written and directed by Robert Eggers, Nosferatu stars Bill Skarsgard, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe.
The official synopsis reads “Robert Eggers’ NOSFERATU is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.”
The original film from 1922 was directed by F. W. Murnau and starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim) and brings the plague to their town.
