Terrifier 3–the next entry in Damien Leone’s slasher franchise–is set for a Halloween release, and a new image of David Howard Thornton in his makeup chair dropped this week. Check out the up close-and-personal pic of Art the Clown on this page.

The horror pic–headed to the big screen Oct. 25–will “unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.” Filming is expected to start next month.
In addition to Thornton reprising his lead role in the third feature, Lauren LaVera will return as Sienna, Samantha Scaffidi will again play Victoria and Elliot Fullam will portray Jonathan. Pro wrestling legend Chris Jericho will also appear in the film.
Leone has also had positive things to say about the future of the bloody franchise. The filmmaker recently said the series “doesn’t have to end. Once we open the door on the supernatural, anything is possible in this franchise. I don’t think you could ever officially put the nail in the coffin.”
