The Last Kiss, the latest horror flick from Blumhouse and Atomic Monster received an official trailer and a release date. Have a look at the trailer below.
The official synopsis reads “Laurel (Mckenna Grace) always imagined her first kiss would be like something out of a fairy tale. Instead, that fantasy turns into a nightmare when she discovers she’s cursed with an ability to see the death of anyone she kisses. After a vision reveals her crush is doomed to die in a strange murder spree targeting her closest friends, she races to unmask the killer before the mystery becomes a massacre.”
“The Last Kiss is a colorful fun teen slasher romance, meant to be the perfect spooky sleepover movie for the mystery lover of all ages,” said director Yoko Okumura. “It takes the real anxiety and horror that surrounds a first kiss and escalates it to life or death stakes. The mythology of what the kiss has meant to humans inspired the fairy tale homage woven through the film’s aesthetic, score and visual language. In a world where many of us fear intimacy and romance, I hope Laurel’s winding journey can offer a respite and maybe even a little hope that all may not be lost.”
The film will premiere at home exclusively on digital platforms to watch with no ads or subscription required starting September 15, 2026, from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on The Last Kiss.
