Let’s face it–for horror fans, every day is Halloween.
Pre-orders are now live for a new line of NECA action figures based on vintage Ben Cooper Halloween costumes. Check out the images–courtesy of Toyark–on this page.

The five retro-clothed figures–slated for release in May–stand six inches tall and are fully poseable–and include a mask, a trick-or-treat bag and vinyl-style costumes. The spooky characters include the Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Devil, Frankenstein’s monster, the Mummy and a skeleton.
In related news, Horror News Network founder Rob Caprilozzi recently completed a documentary–Dressing Up Halloween: The Story of Ben Cooper, Inc.–that details the company’s costume-in-a-box concept that began back in 1937. Check out the trailer for the doc on this page.
While Ben Cooper, Inc. closed its doors in the early 1990s, the documentary spotlights Cooper’s grandson, as he reunites with former employees at their old factory and delves into the lasting impact of their Halloween costumes.
