Hulu Unleashes ‘Clown Panic’ Trailer

“The clown that’s kidnapping kids?”

Where were you during the great clown panic of 2016? Hulu unleased the official trailer for their upcoming documentary Clown Panic. The preview, which can be seen below, focuses on a community frightened by sightings of eerie clowns.

What began in 2016 with reports of clowns hiding in the woods of a small South Carolina community quickly escalated, as similar sightings were reported across the United States. As fears surrounding the clown sightings spread, law enforcement became involved, schools went into lockdown, and television news and social media coverage intensified.

Ed Perkins directs Clown Panic and Lightbox’s Jonathan Chinn and Simon Chinn produce.
