William Catlett Joins ‘Crystal Lake’

“You’re doomed if you stay here! This place is cursed. Cursed!”

William Catlett has landed a major role opposite the previously announced Linda Cardellini in Crystal Lake, the Friday the 13th expanded prequel series from Peacock and A24, according to a report on Deadline.

Catlett will portray Levon Brooks, which is said to be a major role, in the series. We previously announced that Cardellini will play Pamela Voorhees, the mother of the Friday the 13th franchise’s masked antagonist, Jason.

Catlett is well known for his works on That Guy, First, Giants, Love Is, Black Lightning, True Story, Constellation, Abigail, and Never Let Go.

The original Friday the 13th film was released on May 9, 1980, and starred Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, Harry Crosby, Laurie Bartram, Mark Nelson, Jeannine Taylor, Robbi Morgan and Kevin Bacon. The movie would go on to earn $59.8 million at the box office and launch one of the greatest slasher franchises of all time.
