Deadites will burn in 2026.
Sebastien Vanicek took to Instagram today to show an image which gives the official title to his upcoming chapter in The Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead: Burn. The image, which can be seen below, appears to be a photocopied front page to the screenplay which features the title, the director and writers’ names.

While plot details of the film are currently under wraps at this time, Ghost House Pictures expects the film to be the next great addition in the series.
Vani?ek made his feature directorial debut last year with Infested (Vermines), a horror pic first introduced as part of the Critics’ Week sidebar at the Venice Film Festival.
The film follows a young man who brings home a venomous spider. The spider finds a way to escape and soon, residents of the apartment building are battling an army of deadly, rapidly reproducing spiders. The film won Best Picture and Best Director in its North American premiere at Fantastic Fest.
