Mezco Toyz recently revealed another must have figure for fans of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
A MDS Mega Scale Talking Freddy Krueger stands 15” tall and says 5 phrases from the original films. In addition, Freddy is dressed in his infamous striped sweater and fedora. He features a newly sculpted head portrait, razor glove, and 11 points of articulation.
Released in 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street garnered $57 million from the box office working on a budget of only $1.1 million. Directed by Wes Craven, the film introduced us to the character of Freddy Krueger, who was played perfectly by Robert Englund. Joining Englund on the first film was John Saxon, Ronee Blakley, Heather Langenkamp, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, and Johnny Depp.
