Extinct? These dinos don’t know the meaning of the word.

Yet another Jurassic Park/World entry is in the pipeline, according to a report on Deadline, with this one described as a “complete reboot” of the 2015 Jurassic World film.

Little is known about this Universal Pictures remake at this early stage, but David Koepp has already signed on as screenwriter. Koepp certainly has the proper pedigree: He wrote the scripts for 1993’s Jurassic Park and 1997’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

The new film–produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley–reportedly will start from scratch–without Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard or legacy stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

To this point, the six Jurassic entries have raked in more than $6 billion worldwide, with the last installment–2022’s Jurassic World: Dominion–earning a cool $1 billion all by itself.
