Norman wouldn’t hurt a fly. Right?

Psycho–The Story Continues–a new box set from Arrow Video–will be available early next year in 4K UHD Blu-ray. Unfortunately, Alfred Hitchcock’s original 1960 classic won’t be included, but the three sequels will release–restored from the original camera negatives.

The set–releasing Feb. 26, 2024–includes Psycho II, Psycho II and Psycho IV: The Beginning in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and original stereo–with optional subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing and reversible sleeves decorated with original and newly commissioned artwork by Matt Griffin.

Psycho II–directed by Richard Franklin from a screenplay by Tom Holland–stars Anthony Perkins (reprising his iconic Norman Bates role), along with Vera Miles, Robert Loggia and Meg Tilly. Set 22 years after the original, the film follows Bates after he’s released from the mental institution and returns to his house and the Bates Motel.

Psycho III--directed by Perkins (who also stars) from a screenplay by Charles Edward Pogue–takes place just one month after the events of Psycho II, when Bates is still running the motel with the corpse of Emma Spool sitting up in the house.

Psycho IV: The Beginning–a made-for-TV film directed by Mick Garris–again stars Perkins–along with Henry Thomas, Olivia Hussey and Warren Frost. Serving as a prequel to Hitchcock’s original, the film focuses on the early life of Bates.
