Just more victims for the Xenomorphs?

The upcoming Alien TV series–based, of course, on the iconic 1979 horror-s/f film–is quickly building an impressive cast, with six additional actors joining the cast just two days after two new members signed on, according to Variety.

The FX show–expected to start shooting in February 2024 for a projected debut date in the first half of 2025–has added Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayl, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Adrian Edmondson to the cast.

Already on board for the Noah Hawley-led series are stars Sydney Chandler and Timothy Olyphant–along with David Rysdahl, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gouray and Kit Young.

This new series will boast the first storyline in the Alien franchise to be set on Earth–about 70 years in our future. No plot details have yet been announced.
