Pop culture design house Super 7 has gone into the past for a new line of horror-themed figures to lead the way into the New Year.
The company this week expanded its ReAction Figure line with miniature glow-in-the-dark replicas of such horror icons as The Toxic Avenger, Count Orlok from Nosferatu, legendary director Alfred Hitchcock and even the robotic Maria from Metropolis, as reported by JoBlo.com. Check out these new figures on this very page.
The nearly four-inch-high figures come attached to cardbacks that harken back to the 1980s Remco monster packaging. The glow-in-the-dark collectibles are available for $18 each at Super 7’s shop.
The Toxic Avenger, from the 1984 cult classic directed by Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman, looks just like the deformed creature that rampaged through that horror film. And Count Orlok–straight from the iconic 1922 silent film Nosferatu starring Max Schreck–is ready to sink his fangs into the nearest unwary victim.
Alfred Hitchcock–the Master of Suspense himself–looks like he’s just stepped away from his director’s chair on the set of Psycho, The Birds or Vertigo. And Maria, from the pioneering 1927 silent science-fiction film Metropolis, channels the actress who brought that role to life–Brigitte Helm.
