Director McG is in final negotiations to direct a new horror comedy from New Line called ‘The Babysitter’. He will produce with Wonderland Sound & Vision banner, along with company president Mary Viola. Brian Duffield has written the script, which generated buzz when it was on the 2014 Blacklist.
‘Babysitter’ centers around a babysitter and the 12 year old boy she is watching, when things go very wrong. He ends up learning a few lessons about life, love and murder.
The film is a change of pace for McG, who had been mainly doing big budget projects in recent years.
