“I can’t wait to see your face..when you find out what’s happening.”
Blackout–yet another werewolf-themed horror pic–is steaming towards a theatrical and digital release this spring, and a trailer has now arrived. Check out the fur-is-flying video on this page.
The film–from writer/director Larry Fessenden (Depraved, Beneath)–lands on the big screen March 13 before a digital and on-demand release April 12.
In Blackout, Charley (Alex Hurt) wakes up in an upstate motel, packs and leaves town. He says goodbye to the estranged love of his life, Sharon (Addison Timlin), and calls his friend Earl (Motell Gyn Foster), saying he’s on his way to see him.
But Charley never gets that far. When the sun goes down, he has convulsions in his car and drives off the road into a ditch. And then, unbelievably, he transforms–into a werewolf. After a bloody night rampaging through town, he wakes the next day with no memory of what he did.
Now the town must rally to find out what’s tearing it apart–mistrust, fear or a vicious monster.
The cast is rounded out by Barbara Crampton, Joseph Castillo–Midyett, Ella Rae Peck, Rigo Garay, Michael Buscemi, Jeremy Holm and Joe Swanberg.
