Universal Picture’s ‘The Mummy’ will now open June 9, 2017, instead of March 24, and will star Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service). Alex Kurtzman is directing the film, which has a screen play by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus). It will be produced by Kurtzman, Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel, with Bobby Cohen, who will also be executive producing.
