Another predator rears its ugly head.
Titan–a new horror film from Resident Evil producers Constantin Films and JB Pictures–is ready to go with its two leads in place, according to a report on Deadline.
Kiana Madeira (Fear Street) and Jessica Rothe (Happy Death Day) have signed on for the feature from director Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn), who also wrote the screenplay with Alan B. McElroy (Star Trek: Discovery). Additional casting choices are expected soon.
In the film–set against the backdrop of Brazil’s Curuca River–a team of doctors embark on a humanitarian mission through the Amazon rain forest. But “it soon becomes clear that not everyone–or everything–is happy to see them.”
It seems the doctors have attracted the attention of an ancient predator known as the Boiuna, “a killer dominant on land and water. The ensuing fight for survival blurs the roles of hunter, prey and hero.”
