Three new actors will meet The Mummy. Lee Cronin’s The Mummy from Blumhouse and Atomic Monster has added three in Veronica Falcon, May Calamawy, and May Elghety, according to a report on Deadline.
The trio will join with Jack Reynor and Laia Costa who were previously announced.
Falcon is known for playing the role of Camila Vargas in 39 episodes of Queen of the South. In 2019, she was awarded the Outstanding Performance in a Television Series Impact Award at the 22nd annual National Hispanic Media Coalition Impact Awards Gala. In 2021, Falcon played Camila Elizonndro, sister of cartel boss Omar Navarro in the Netflix hit series Ozark.
Calamawy is known for her roles in the series Ramy, and also the Marvel Comics series Moon Knight where she plays the superhero Scarlet Scarab.
Elghety had her breakthrough role in the award-winning Egyptian film Clash portraying Aeshah. In 2019 she appeared in 15 episodes of Zodiac.
