Why the new addition? One theory holds that Kong may have sustained an injury battling Skar King alone in the Hollow Earth. But, how did that happen–and how was the mechanical arm candy attached? Fans may have to wait until April 12 when the film hits theaters to find out.
The new film–the follow-up to the 2012 blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong–is the latest Legendary Pictures foray into the MonsterVerse–a story that will pit the two iconic behemoths against a common foe: Skar King.
Directed by Adam Wingard from a screenplay by Terry Rossio, Jeremy Slater and Simon Barrett, the horror pic stars Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Kaylee Hottle, Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns and Rachel House.
