You can never have too much pizza.

Five Nights at Freddy’s–the Blumhouse adaptation of the popular horror video game–proved to be a hit with fans and critics, so it comes as no surprise that a sequel would be under consideration. After all, that’s what horror movie producers do.

Well, this week star Josh Hutcherson confirmed that possibility when he told Variety that, “I know they’re in the process right now of writing down the story, and they want to get going as soon as possible.”

Impressed by the reaction to the film, the actor said, “The fans are amazing and die hard. It was so cool and phenomenal. We hoped it would connect with audiences, but I don’t think anybody expected it to connect the way it did. I’m dying to get back on set.”

Hutcherson added that director Emma Tammi “was fantastic. And it was such a fun world to play in. I’m excited to see what they’re doing next.”

The original film–helmed by Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback–follows Mike Schmidt (Hutcherson), a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza who quickly finds out how dangerous his job is. The pizzeria’s animatronic creations have a bad habit of springing to murderous life after dark.

Joining Hutcherson in the cast are Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabath Lail and Kat Conner Sterling.
