Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Shaun of the Dead, The Winchester Tavern was open for fans at San Diego Comic-Con. Brought to SDCC by Focus Features, this part bar, part experience, and part really exclusive merchandise shop, recreates scenes from the horror cult-classic. A well received item offered to all attendees over 21 years of age was “collectible” beer by Beer Zombies Brewing Co. with a movie themed can design. Fans were able to pose in familiar scenes for photo opportunities and had the chance to play the Shaun of the Dead level of the upcoming video game, Funko Fusion. The merchandise available was a great nod to the movie and perfect for the tavern environment.
