Get ready to scream.

Producers of the upcoming horror film Screamboat have revealed that Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) and Kailey Hyman (Terrifier 2) have joined the cast, according to a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The film, which is a horror-comedy reimagining of Disney’s Steamboat Willie stars David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown from Terrifier) as the antagonist.

The official synopsis reads “A late-night boat ride in New York City becomes a struggle for survival when a seemingly harmless mouse transforms into a dangerous monster. Passengers must fight to stay alive.”

“We are doing our due diligence to make sure there’s no question or confusion of what we’re up to,” LaMorte said at the time, touching on the production’s legal consultation. “This is our version of a public domain character. It’s a scary thrill ride with heart and humor, based on this character that everybody knows.”

The film is slated to be released on January 24, 2025. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on Screamboat.
