Rebecca Hall Joins ‘The Beauty’

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it”.

Rebecca Hall has joined the cast of FX‘s The Beauty, Ryan Murphy‘s latest drama series under his Disney deal, Deadline has confirmed. She joins previously cast Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope and Ashton Kutcher.

Co-created, written and exec produced by Murphy and Matt Hodgson, The Beauty is based on the comic books by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley.

Published by Image Comics and having its debut on August 2015, The Beauty follows society’s obsession with beauty standards. The official synopsis of the series reads “Modern society is obsessed with outward beauty. What if there was a way to guarantee you could become more and more beautiful every day? What if it was a sexually transmitted disease? In the world of The Beauty, physical perfection is attainable. The vast majority of the population has taken advantage of it, but Detectives Foster and Vaughn will soon discover it comes at a terrible price.”
