‘Pet Sematary: Bloodlines’ Hits Home With Bonus Featurette

Pet Sematary: Bloodlines–the prequel to the 1989 big-screen adaptation of the 1983 Stephen King horror classic–hits digital today (Dec. 5), and a new featurette clip starring Pam Grier has arrived. Check out the video on this page.

In addition to this video, fans who buy the prequel on digital, 4K UHD or Blu-ray will also have access to other features, including: Origins (learn sinister origins and secrets in the film); Fresh Blood (new talent embraces the Pet Sematary legacy); Death’s Design (discover secrets and hidden Easter eggs in the film); Method to the Madness (behind-the-scenes clips of cast members); and War Comes Home (the cast and crew dissect the film’s final scene).

The film–directed by Lindsey Beer from a screenplay she wrote with Jeff Buhler–is set in 1969 and follows a young Jud Crandall, who wants to leave Ludlow, Maine behind, but who soon discovers “sinister secrets buried within.”

As a result, Jud and his childhood friends band together to fight an ancient evil in Ludlow that has the power “to destroy everything in its path.”

The film stars Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Henry Thomas, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LaBlanc, David Duchovny and Grier.
