Vertical has released the official trailer for their upcoming feature We Bury the Dead. The preview, which can be seen below, shows what happens after a catastrophic military disaster.
The official synopsis of the film reads “After a catastrophic military disaster, the dead don’t just rise – they hunt. Ava searches for her missing husband, but what she finds is far more terrifying.”
Directed by Zak Dilditch, We Bury the Dead stars Daisy Ridley, Brenton Thwaites, and Mark Coles Smith.
The film had its world premiere in March at the 2025 South by Southwest Film & TV Festival. It is currently scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States on January 2, 2026.
