“There has to be some way to stop this.”
Blumhouse and Atomic Monster are teaming up to bring horror fans a new way to fear the water with Night Swim. A new trailer dropped this week that delves deeper into the terrors on tap–check it out on this page.
The film–splashing into theaters Jan. 5, 2024–comes from the writing/directing team of Bryce McGuire and Rob Blackhurst, and draws on a 2014 short story by the two filmmakers.
The brief synopsis for the feature reveals that a family will have to deal with “the hidden source of terror found in a backyard swimming pool.” As the tagline warns: “No running. No diving. No swimming after dark.”
The cast includes Wyatt Russell (Overlord), Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin), Amelie Hoeferle (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Gavin Warren (First Man), Nancy Lenehan (Catch Me If You Can) and Jodi Long (The Exorcist III).
