New Line Casts Ed and Lorraine Warren in New ‘Conjuring’ Film

Ghosts and demons beware; the Warren’s are set to return.

New Line has found its new Ed and Lorraine Warren in Garrett Wareing and Amanda Fix for the prequel The Conjuring: First Communion, according to a report on Deadline.

Rodrigue Huart will direct the new film from a screenplay by Richard Naing & Ian Goldberg.

Horror fans will recognize Wareing from Lionsgate’s Stephen King adaptation The Long Walk. He also has a role on Netflix’s recent western series Ransom Canyon.

Fix has made a splash in the horror realm lately with roles in Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, and Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen.

As fans know, The Conjuring Universe is the highest-grossing horror franchise of all time with over $2.7 billion.
