Few plot specifics about Neon’s Cuckoo are known–even through the horror film wrapped production in the summer of 2022–but now a release date has been announced.
The film–from writer/director Tilman Singer (Luz)–will hit the big screen May 3, and will reportedly follow a woman named Gretchen who travels to the German Alps with her father and stepmother.
But, once there, Gretchen discovers the resort town hides dangerous secrets where she’s plagued by strange noises and frightening visions of a woman pursuing her.
The cast is led Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), Dan Stevens (Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), Jessica Henwick (Matrix: Resurrections), Marton Csokas (The Last Duel), Jan Bluthardt (Tatort) and Greta Fernandez (A Thief’s Daughter).
